Jessie Meng
Jessie, a young pianist at the age of 16, embarked on her musical journey at just four years old under the guidance of Ms. Winnie Tay at Song Without Words Music Studio. Since then, she has achieved numerous accolades, including multiple awards in the Lang Lang Futian International Piano Competition, UCSI International Piano Festival and Competition, and the National Piano and Violin Competition.
Her talent extends to international competitions, where she secured prizes in events like the Taiwan International Maestro Piano Festival and the Singapore International Piano Competition. Notably, Jessie stands out as the sole participant to achieve a perfect score of 100/100 in the International Piano Island Competition in 2019 and 2018.
Furthermore, she emerged as the grand prize winner in the Steinway Youth Piano Competition in 2018, representing Singapore in the Steinway Regional Finals Asia Pacific as one of the youngest pianists at age 11. Her achievements also encompass performances at renowned venues like Carnegie Hall in New York and the Paris Opera Bastille.
Apart from her competition success, Jessie's commitment to music includes other performances such as the President Star Charity 2014 broadcast live on Channel 5, SG50, performing alongside Lang Lang and charitable performances for events such as "Music from the Heart Charity Concert" and "ChildAid”, organised by the Singapore Press Holdings.
