“Just as a painter uses his imagination and transfers colors from his palette to his canvas, such is the way I feel about using a Steinway - I can imagine the many colors of sounds that are on the pages of our great master composers, but I must have something on which to transfer my imagination, and this can be done so exquisitely on a Steinway. I thank the Steinway family and company, the performing artists past and present, and all the teachers who have continued to inspire, through their dedication, to the highest perfection of the art. I am indeed honored to be part of the "fabric of music" in America via the Steinway piano, both as a performer and a teacher.”
