Inon Barnatan
Inon Barnatan is an Israeli-born pianist living in the United States. A child prodigy with perfect pitch, he began taking piano lessons at age 3, and at 11 he made his orchestral debut. As a concert artist, Barnatan has performed with many great orchestras including the Cleveland Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, and San Francisco Orchestra, and he has given solo recitals in the great venues of New York City. He has also engaged international audiences, and is an active chamber musician.
Barnatan is a vocal proponent and benefactor of contemporary music. He regularly commissions new music and performs works by Thomas Adès, George Benjamin, George Crumb, Kaija Saariaho, and Judith Weir, among other important composers.
Barnatan has been a Steinway Artist since 2013.
