Hin-Yat Tsang

Born in Hong Kong, Hin-Yat Tsang was admitted to the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts as a Junior Student under the tutelage of Eleanor Wong. Under a full scholarship from the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Hin-Yat went on to attained his Bachelor of Music Degree, graduating at the Academy with first class honors.

Hin-Yat is both a Master and Artist Diploma graduate from the Royal College of Music in London. He also served as the Constant & Kit Lambert Junior Fellow at the Royal College under the guidance of the renowned Russian pianist Dmitri Alexeev.

A winner of various international awards such as the First and Audience Prize at the Manchester International Concerto Competition and the First Prize at 2009 Steinway & Sons International Youth Competition in Beijing, Hin-Yat was named ‘The Hong Kong Young Musician of the Year’ in 2010. He is the Gold Medalist at the Asian Chopin Competition in Tokyo.
